According to Kok Choong, the good relationship developed in its business is the reason for the successful collaboration, in which it will benefit the people of Sabah in the future.
The land of the rising sun, a place where natural disasters such as tornados, earthquakes and tsunamis often occur, resulted in a high emphasis on the solar energy usage for the benefit of the Japanese people, Malaysians too can move towards the use of solar energy for their daily lives.
Even so, the solar energy usage in our country is considered small, we will surely apply solar energy in a variety of ways for the next 10 years, said Kok Choong.
“We understand that Japan does not only have expertise in the technological sector, but they are also a leader in producing skilled workers.”
“Hence, AGAPE chose to cooperate with Japan to increase the usage of solar energy from 50 megawatt to 500 megawatts in the next 10 years,” added How.
He believes, this solar energy production collaboration will create at least 1,500 jobs for the locals.
How replied to the journalist of Utusan Online during the press conference held at the Trim+ Launching Ceremony in the “Road To New York City (NYC): The Grand Reveal” recently.
Earlier that day, AGAPE Superior Living has signed a Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) with VSUN (solar), Phoenix Plus (real estate) and Qu Exchange (SME sharing platform).
The MoU also involved the subsidiary of Utusan Melayu (M) Bhd. Group, Media House Entertainment (media), Abalance, a Japanese green energy, information technology and construction company, Innovative Ideals and Services (India) which supplies safety equipment and Carter Lim Chee Sen, AGAPE’s Thailand business partner.
As the event reaches climax, Kok Choong launched its newest product, Trim+ with the tagline Go Kurus in hope of encouraging positive diet and weight (obesity) management of Malaysian who have less liking on doing exercise.
Trim + is a health beverage that can help lose sweetness, and it is available for purchase online, in-store and from AGAPE branches and stockists across Malaysia.
Kok Choong added, AGAPE that offers various types of businesses which include overseas real estate, will now venture further with their acquisition of Red Boy TV.
“I believe the filming industry is worth exploring due to its potential to penetrate the overseas market.” He added.
“Let our kampung boy become the hero or a star because as a Malaysian, I want more Malaysians to succeed as an actor. We cannot only have one Michele Yeoh,” Said Dato’ Sri Dr How.
